Once the architectural design has reached the schematic phase, our interiors team begins developing the interior design concept. This work refines the spatial experience, material palette, and overall aesthetic so that the interior architecture seamlessly extends the design language established on the exterior.

Our team produces detailed interior documentation—including interior elevations, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, finish schedules, and other construction drawings. These documents provide builders with the clear information required to accurately execute the design.
Interior Finish Specifications
Great interiors depend on more than selecting materials. Precise specifications—such as tile types, installation methods, mortar thickness, and underlayment requirements—are essential for durability and long-term performance. Our detailed specifications eliminate guesswork and ensure the design is constructed exactly as intended.
Daylight Control Studies
Natural light is one of the most powerful elements shaping interior space. Using advanced rendering and simulation tools, we study daylight conditions based on accurate geolocation, weather patterns, time of day, and seasonal changes. Unlike many interior design firms, CW Architects does not profit from product procurement. Some designers receive large manufacturer discounts and resell products to clients at retail pricing. We believe this creates unnecessary cost and misalignment. Our compensation comes solely from the professional services we provide, ensuring our recommendations are always made in the best interest of the project and the client.
