Sometimes building new is out of the question because this is the home where he caught his first touchdown pass from Dad. This home was the stage for countless birthdays, holidays, and ordinary moments that became lifelong memories. Some homes aren’t meant to be replaced. They’re meant to evolve.
Teaming up with Huseby Homes, CW Architects set out with this family to make the place they already called home even more meaningful, preserving the memories embedded within it while making room for those still to come.
Family Traditions is a renovation and addition that respects the character of the original home while creating stronger connections to the outdoors and spaces designed for a family entering its next chapter: future weddings, holidays, grandchildren, and generations gathering under the same roof.
The architecture may be more traditional than much of CW Architects’ portfolio, but the thinking behind it is distinctly ours. Architecture lives between people and place, and sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do is help a familiar place continue to serve as the stage for life.
